If you’re following both this and my travel blog, I apologize for spamming your dash! I’m staying in to get rid of my cold before my shopping weekend in Seoul, plus I have a bunch on drafts I want to get out there before I have more updates to post.
Time for some random all in one post.
Advice: be wary of your tracked tags on tumblr. Tracking things you love may at times lead to nice but frustrating nostalgia. I should really clear mine!
My first year’s text book lesson this week is themed around time travel and this is the opening screen of my prezi:
One of my students came into class today, saw it, and shrieked. She ran to my desk and yelled “TARDIS?!?”. I laughed and tried to ask if she knew the show, but she interrupted me with “YOU WATCH DOCTOR WHO!” and got really excited. We talked about it a bit, then she blushed and asked “you know day-veed ten-an-tuh?”, I said that he is my favorite and she quickly expelled “I LOVE HIM!” and ran to her seat.
I’m headed to Seoul this weekend! It’s my first time in Seoul but we have decided we are not doing any site seeing. There will be time for that later, this is a very serious trip dedicated to very serious shopping and very serious restaurant scouting. I need winter clothes… desperately.
