Near the end of January every year I realize that “wow the year is already 1/12 over” and it always seems as if this first month has just FLOWN by and if I’m not careful the other eleven will go by just as quickly and then there goes the whole year!
It never happens like that, but the end of January still brings that same anxiety that time goes too quickly.
Chatting on Kakao with Phil who is having a layover at Incheon while I’m sitting a layover in shanghai. So much about this is weird/backward. Phil’s in Korea, but I’m in china. Just a few more hours til we’re both in HK!!!

Haven’t slept in 24 hours due to the toothache from hell.
Laid in bed awake all night with ice on my face, got up and came to work. Deskwarming.
Appointment isn’t until 1pm. Advil has done nothing for me.
After my appointment I need to book it back to work to teach a 2 hour camp.
Did I mention I haven’t slept at all?
I feel absolutely miserable.

Falling snow never fails to put a smile on my face.
This is the second snow we’ve had in Daegu where it actually sticks to the ground. It probably wont last long but it looks so nice right now. The courtyard of my building has a nice fluffy layer that I managed to ruin while kicking up flurries.
